Irish Slang Website

Irishslang.info is the most comprehensive online dictionary of Irish Slang that has been developed "straight from the horse's mouth".

If you hear something "straight from the horse's mouth", you hear it from someone who definitely knows it is true and has direct knowledge of it.

hi,
thanks, this is definitely one of those useful kinda websites!
although I really like to speak informally and sometimes a little bit more than it(less formal),I'm afraid if I use to tell such expressions in inappropriate situations; such as formal meetings with people and so on and so far.
Slán!

yeah,I see.
Nearly every one-except those who follow British English(Yuck!)-speak informally n often slang...
You know, maybe it's because of your fluency in speaking;I'm not sure about it.maybe it doesn't make sense but when I talk with someone in English,I look more motivated n relaxed! All I know is that I can't stand British accent at all while I'm not a racist!
LOL...
